WooCommerce + Dropshipping Made Simple
After you have your WooCommerce store connected to Dropshix server, the next thing you will want to do is to set up your configuration. This is where you can set your "Profit Profile", "Advanced Pricing Setting", and "Movement Activity Level".
Start this by clicking "Dropshix Configuration" button.
1. Global Setting
Global setting applied as the generic set that the system will use on all of your products that are connected to Dropshix service. It consists of 3 fields.
- Store Currency.
You store main currency, even if your store is serving multiple currencies please put only your main currency that you put on WooCommerce Setting. Dropshix is using a live currency converter that will continuously update the exchange rate to match your profit profile. When you're selecting a different currency than your store main currency, it will break the calculation as Dropshix will count the profit based on the store currency.
- Profit Type.
You can choose for your global store whether you want the profit to be in a percentage (%) or a fixed number ($).
- Profit Value.
The value or number of the profit you would like to have for every product you are going to sell. If you set the Profit Type to % then it will be read as xx.xx%, the same with if you chose Profit Type to $.
Note: If you deactivate all "Advance Pricing structure setting" then Global Setting will be the only value the system will use to calculate your profit and pricing structure. More simple if you would like to apply 1 price policy.
2. Advance Pricing structure setting.
If you want to apply different profit margin based on the product original price, try to use the "Advance Pricing structure setting". You will have 2 pricing setting + 3 pricing variation (available only for Basic, VIP, and VVIP package).
Each pricing structure has a price range, [the low limit] to [the high limit]. Every product that the original price is within this range will follow the "Profit Type" and "Profit Value" for the pricing structure.
This setting will be applied both when you first import the product and when the product is being monitored. If the original price is under the low limit the price range has it will follow the other ranges/variations where the price fits in. If none of the range/variation is qualified for the original price, it will use the Global Setting configuration. So please be careful when setting the number in (Dropshix can't be held responsible for any money loses because of your setting).
The price variation doesn't need to follow the sequence of the other setting, although we do recommend that you set it up in sequence to each previous setup. For example, if you have [$10] to [$25] range for the "Lowest Pricing Setup" it's not obligated to set up the "Price Variation #1" into [$26] to [$30] range. We do recommend that you set it up that way, for your own benefit. Each range/variation is independent and will work in parallel when it calculates your item price.
3. Activity Level setting.
The last thing you need to setup is "Activity Level setting". This setting will determine how active your price will react to price movement from AliExpress stores. It has 3 fields.
- Upper Price Difference.
When the price is recalculated and it goes up (higher). This setting will check the difference between your current price with the new price. If the margin is above the number set here the price will be recalculated with new calculation or otherwise, it will stay with the calculated number. This setting also affects on how much margin your new price has against the average market price.
- Lower Price Difference.
When the price is recalculated and it goes down (lower). This setting will check the difference between your current price with the new price. If the margin is above the number set here the price will be recalculated with new calculation or otherwise, it will stay with the calculated number. This setting also affects on how much margin your new price has against the average market price.
- Dismissed Items. (available only for Basic, VIP, and VVIP package)
When a product becomes unavailable anymore in AliExpress by default Dropshix will try to remove it from your in-stock products by deleting it and store it as "Inactive Items" in the system. This setting, if set to "Draft Item" will remove an item from your in-stock product by changing its status to "Draft" and keep it actively monitored in case the product becomes available again in AliExpress marketplace.
Save the setting.
When you're satisfied with the setting, click the "Save My Settings" button to save your configuration.
Note: If you have products imported and then you update this setting, your product price will be recalculated on the next monitor schedule.
